FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to propulsion engineering, in particular, to devices for pumping of fuel used in automobile internal combustion engines. Invention makes it possible to provide continuous readiness of fuel pump for manual supply of fuel to internal combustion engine carburetor. Fuel pump, mostly in carburetor internal combustion engine, consists of body with cover and detachable cartridge, drive lever hingedly installed in body, which interacts on one side with cam of distributor shaft, and on the other side - via bulge with link of diaphragm compression spring-loaded spring stem control, and level of manual fuel make-up with roller cylinder. Drive lever is made of elastic material. Pump body has additional lever of manual fuel make-up hingedly fixed to it, which contacts with compression spring-loaded pusher that is movably installed in body vertical plane. Its longitudinal axis of symmetry coincides with the similar one of diaphragm stem. Bending stiffness of drive lever is higher than linear stiffness of specified diaphragm compression spring.
EFFECT: provides continuous readiness of fuel pump for manual supply of fuel to internal combustion engine carburetor.
