FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the flexible coupling design. The proposed coupling comprises the driving and driven half-couplings rigidly fitted on the drive driving and driven shafts respectively and fastened together by a stack of annular flexible plates, an a pair of clamping jaws, each mounted on the driven half-coupling with the help of a bolt passed through aligned holes in the jaw and the stack. At least a part of the aforesaid holes in jaws is fitted with a threaded insert wherein the aforesaid bolt threaded part is screwed. The coupling has also two first thrust bearings, each fitted between the bolt head and the annular plate stack, and two second thrust bearings, each representing the balls arranged between the adjacent surfaces of the driven half-coupling and appropriate clamping jaw.
EFFECT: smaller sixes, reduced metal input, lower wear.
