FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: small-sized rotor-type heat generator is designed for heat and hot water supply to the industrial and household facilities. A rotor-type heat generator comprises a cylindrical casing in which a hollow rotor is rigidly fixed on a hollow shaft with the possibility of rotation. At least one additional cylindrical surface of smaller diameter is mounted inside the rotor coaxially to its cylindrical surface as well as at least two radially set baffles are mounted evenly and circumferentially and adjoin the cylindrical and end-face surfaces of the inner rotor surface. Diametral rows of through holes are made on the rotor cylindrical surface and additional cylindrical surface. A diametral row of analogous through holes is made at the end-face rotor surfaces in close proximity to the hollow shaft; radial rows of blind slots are made at a greater distance from the shaft, analogous blind slots are made on the inner casing end-face surfaces. Such design provides for increasing efficiency and reliability of the device, reducing its production costs.
