FIELD: heat-power engineering; heat generators; heating systems, hot water supply systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed liquid heater has fixed housing consisting of cylindrical housing and two covers which are mounted symmetrically relative to housing; liquid heater is also provided with cylindrical cavity. Sleeve rigidly mounted in housing has through holes located in parallel diametric rows bounded by housing. Mounted inside cylindrical cavity of sleeve and covers is rotatable rotor made in form of hollow cylinder secured on shaft which is connected with electric motor by means of clutch. Bushes made integral with covers are used for mounting the bearings and end seals located in chamber. Outlet passage is provided in center of cylindrical surface of housing and sleeve in way of rotation of rotor; intake passages are located symmetrically relative to housing in cover bushes and are hydraulically connected with end seal chamber which is connected in its turn with cylindrical cavity. End faces of rotor and opposite surfaces of covers are provided with blind holes having shape of cylindrical surface without chamfers and rounded-off areas; these holes are located in form of radial rows over circumference. Cylindrical surface of rotor has similar holes located in parallel diametric rows.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heating the liquid; enhanced mechanical reliability of heater; simplified construction.
