FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to protection systems of power lines. The device comprises first and second current sensors, a thyristor and an electromechanical switch. The outputs of the first and second sensors are twinned and connected to the thyristor gate, the input of which is connected to the phase conductor of the power line, and the output to the input of the electromechanical switch, the second input of which is connected to neutral conductor of the power line.
EFFECT: increased reliability and simplification of the design of the device.
