FIELD: transport, aviation.
SUBSTANCE: aircraft cabin comprises two rows adjacent of seats that can be transformed in a couch so that to make a berth. Note here that all berths are oriented in the same direction. Each seat, in being transformed into the couch, has the first part of the berth and the second part of smaller width compared with the first one. The seats in two adjacent rows are arranged staggered so that the first part of a seat in one row stays opposite the second part of the second row narrower seat.
EFFECT: increased number of passengers.
