FIELD: chemistry; water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used for purifying sewage water. Floatation chamber 6 and filtration chamber 9 are put in the same case 5 and separated by impermeable partition wall 7. The height of partition wall 7 between the floatation chamber 6 and filtration chamber 9, allows for formation of a common working water level in the case. Water level sensor 10, in filtration chamber 9, is in form of float on vertical guides, rigidly attached to trough 8, for tapping the floating layer or to the inner side of the wall of the case. The vertical guides set the limit of the position of the float when the working water level in the device changes. Inside filtration chamber 9, there are perforated pipes 13, for letting in air bubbles into the water, and water turbidity sensor, 12. Filter element 14, is in form of a multilayer filling with an upper sand layer, and is put on perforated partition wall 15, which has elements for inlet of air and water into the filtering layer from below.
EFFECT: purification of sewage water and reclaimed water from cellulose and paper production with a wide range of concentrations and types of water contaminants to a level, allowing for repeated use purified water in production processes.
