SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to dispersant compositions, containing non-ionic surface-active substance and a polymer, containing, at least one salt of the carboxylic acid group, as well as to pigment compositions and aqueous compositions for coating, containing a dispersant composition. The invention aims to design dispersant compositions, capable of dispersing specific types of pigments in an aqueous carrier, providing for good colour characteristics at the same time. Proposal is given of a dispersant composition, containing 5-20 wt % polyalkylene oxide and 3-25 wt % acrylic acid copolymer.
