FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed positioner is intended for membrane- or rotary-type pneumatic drives incorporated with automatic control systems. The proposed positioner incorporates a power supply, a signaling unit connected to the stem position controller and, via the turn angle converter, to linear-to-angular motion converter. The converter input and the valve membrane drive output are to interact with the valve stem, while the valve membrane drive input is connected to the electropneumatic converter output. Note that the positioner additionally comprises a current computation unit connected to the stem position controller and an adder connected to the aforesaid electropneumatic converter. Note that the adder is connected also to the pressure controller, in its turn, connected to the stem position controller and electropneumatic converter coupled with the electro pneumatic converter. It includes also the stem preset position computation unit connected to both the stem position controller and current computation unit.
EFFECT: higher-quality control over valve position.
