FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of control over the handling device operation envisages the handling device (2) being automatically lowered into the transport position (S) on the transportation support (11) by way of event- or condition-controlled placement into the transport position; the rate of rotation round the vertical (3) and the horizontal (4) axes is regulated depending on the distance between the handling device (2) current and target (assigned) positions. Controls of the handling device (2) control unit are designed to enable automatic lowering of the harvester (1) mounted handling device (2) into the transport position on the transportation support (11) (by way of event- or condition-controlled placement into the transport position) as well as regulation of the rate of rotation round the vertical (3) and the horizontal (4) axes depending on the distance between the handling device (2) current and target (assigned) positions. The harvester (1) is equipped with a unit enabling control over the handling device (2).
EFFECT: improved reliability of the handling device placement into the transport position.
