Abstract RU 2348147 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: proposed furrow irrigation method envisages arrangement of furrows, their polymeric material coating and subsequent delivery of water through the furrows thus prepared. The furrow arrangement and planting over, the furrow bed is compacted with the help of a parabolic roller and treated with moisture evaporation depressor. After that a strap of non-watertight geotextile material with a density of 300-400 g/m2 is laid inside the furrow to cover the whole of the width of the furrow band that becomes wetted during irrigation.

EFFECT: soil irrigation erosion prevention; enhanced regularity of the soil moistening along the whole of the furrow; optimum water-and-air regime maintenance.
