METHOD FOR INTENSIVE LAWN GROWING WITH WATER ENRICHMENT OF SOIL USING SUPERABSORBENT DURING IRRIGATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A01G20/20 A01G25/02 A01G24/42

Abstract RU 2751851 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, particularly, to gardening. In the method, a water-impermeable geotextile material in form of a polypropylene fibre is placed and used, wherein sine-shaped perforated water pipes are laid above the bottom over said material and connected to a water source equipped with an automatic control system. The surface of the perforated water pipes is covered with a second layer of the water-permeable geotextile material on top and the ends thereof are fixed, forming a closed cavity. A drainage accumulator made of a nutrient substance is placed above the sheet, is isolated from the bottom and from the top by a closed cavity between the water-permeable layers of the geotextile material. A fertile soil layer is laid on top and a lawn grass mixture is sown. Prior to sowing, the grass seed mixture is pretreated with a prepared solution of the "Baikal EM-1" agent in drinking water. A vegetative rectangular plastic or metal tray with vertical side walls is used for planting the lawn grass seed mixture. For water isolation of the bottom of the tray, a layer of water-impermeable geotextile material is laid on top thereof, the edges whereof are folded up along the perimeter of the rectangular tray along a closed contour inside to the side walls of the rectangular tray, the ends whereof are placed above the diameter of the sine-shaped perforated water pipes, and covered above the pipes with a second layer of water-permeable geotextile material also folded up along a closed contour inside to the side walls of the rectangular tray. Each end of the geotextile material sheet layer is tightly fixed with thin strips in form of a plastic frame using fasteners, forming a closed cavity of perforated water pipes. A third layer of water-permeable geotextile material is placed above the second water-permeable layer of geotextile material also forming a closed cavity in stages above the second layer of water-permeable geotextile material. The edges thereof are also folded up and along a closed contour inside to the side walls of the tray. The ends of the geotextile material are tightly fixed with thin strips in form of a plastic frame using fasteners. A plastic fine-meshed lattice with an inextensible cable and an elastomeric structure of the thread also fixed along a closed contour inside to the side walls of the tray is fixed therein directly above the third layer of water-permeable geotextile material. The fine-meshed lattice therein serves for laying a free water-permeable loose geotextile material stretched in the longitudinal and transverse directions on top thereof, constituting the actual base, on the surface whereof a water-soluble adhesive is applied from above along a sine-shaped line, on top whereof a polymer in form of superabsorbent granules is laid in a uniform layer with supply of warm water and subsequent swelling of the superabsorbent and absorption of water and water-soluble nutrients. A fertile soil is then laid on the surface with a possibility of gas exchange from the soil, and a turf-forming lawn grass mixture is sown. Cultivation is therein executed on a pre-prepared bench table unit with vertical stands in the lower part, with horizontal supports equipped with adjusting screws on the floor, in place of the bench part of the table, whereon the roll lawn is cultivated on a loose base of a water-permeable geotextile material with superabsorbent granules applied to an adhesive. The beginning of the water distribution collector in form of a pipe is therein hydraulically connected with a pressure water source - a pipeline with a water pressure sensor, a filter and an adjusting ball valve controlled by an operator manually or by a personal computer. The soil poured into the tray for growing grassy turf from a seed mixture is equipped with a soil moisture sensor hydraulically connected with the water source and the soil in the tray sown with seeds, and readings are transmitted to a personal computer when the soil is saturated with moisture.

EFFECT: method allows increasing the intensity and time of formation of a strong root system of plants pretreated prior to sowing the seed mixture, increasing germination ability and time of formation of the root system of plants on a laid base of a water-permeable geotextile material.
