FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: each mould designed for formation of corrugated products of tubular or sheet blanks fabricated of thermoplastic material accordingly consists of a hollow tapered shell, a prism-shaped shell, a bottom with radial channels, a blank product edge clamping fixture and an overpressure system. Additionally each mould is equipped with structural elements designed to provide for the blank fixation and edge clamping so that to enable formation of a chamber with wave-profiled surfaces. Blanks fabricated of thermoplastic material, when placed inside the chamber, divide the latter in two wave guides. The wave guides shared inlet communicates with the longitudinal channels of the shell upper part and the sleeves attached thereto and equipped with spring-loaded check valves, their outlets connected to the compressed air source. The wave guides shared outlet is equipped with a support-mounted spring-loaded check valve (via the clamping sleeve of the shells lower parts with their longitudinal channels). The above valve outlet is connected to the compressed air source. The wave-profiled surfaces of the both wave guides are shifted relative to each other by a distance equal to 0.25 of the wavelength. Stiffness of the spring of the check valve installed in the compressed air outlet exceeds that of the spring of the check valve installed in the compressed air inlet.

EFFECT: improved quality and extended variety of the available products moulded of thermoplastic materials due to implementation of a manufacturing technology consisting in products being moulded of blanks fabricated of thermoplastic materials by way of their surfaces exposure to wave action generated by compressed air impact pulse with no external heater deployed.
