FIELD: transportation; shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for cleaning a floating ship hull has a scrubber fitted between floats, made from firm synthetic ropes with brushes attached to it and a working rope. At one end of the working rope there are springs, and the other end is tied to an electric motor with a cam mechanism, creating reciprocating motion of the scrubber.
EFFECT: simple design of the cleaning device.
