SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles, in particular to devices for cleaning snow and dirt from license plates of cars and other vehicles. Device contains a mounting plate of rectangular shape, the lower part of which is located and reinforced under the sheet with license plates, and on its outer part, above the sheet with license plates, there are guiding bars reinforced in the middle of the upper and lower bends, having slots-grooves necessary for placement and movement of rollers or wheels with closed bearings fixed at the ends of the axis to cleaning brushes performing oscillatory movement to the right and to the left. On the left side of the open part of the mounting plate, at the end of the sheet with license plates, there is a coil with two spring mechanisms, each having one narrow metal winding tape, the ends of which are fixed to the axis with cleaning brushes and operating like a measuring tape. On the right side of the open part of the mounting plate there is an electric motor with two fixed pulley-drums at the ends of the shaft, which wind and unwind steel cables that are connected to the axis of the cleaning mechanism.

EFFECT: possibility for the driver to keep the front and rear license plates clean while sitting at the wheel and without leaving the cabin.
