SUBSTANCE: belt filter press relates to devices for the dehydration of raw and fermented sewage sludge from municipal aeration plants. Belt filter press comprises a closed housing, support poles, an operating drum made of rust-resisting mesh with an additional cloth mesh over it, a tension roller, guiding and guiding-pressing roller systems, a filter belt made from heat-fixed cloth being solid-woven and seamless, a blade for dehydrated sludge removal, a motor drive, a flush water supply pipeline, flush water collecting gutters, a flush water withdrawing tray, a guiding rack to level dehydrated sludge layer.

EFFECT: increasing filter belt service life, providing for simple unit maintenance, increasing efficiency of the treated sludge dehydration, providing for efficient recovery of the filtering surfaces permeability, preventing increase of moisture content in the dehydrated sludge during filtering surfaces washing, increasing reliability and simplicity of the unit operation.
