FIELD: automobile production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is concerned with vehicles namely with vehicle theft prevention equipment. Anti-theft device includes car alarm system with code information transmitting unit that communicates with receiving electronic control unit through the link, and actuating mechanism. Actuating mechanism contains electric strike, alarm mechanism, for example indicator lamp, allowing control strike position "open" - "closed". Due to structure peculiarities electric strike is set to "open" or "closed" position via commands sent from remote control unit, for example from alarm pager.
EFFECT: increase of vehicle anti-theft security.
