SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ceramic material industry, and namely to compositions of masses used for brick manufacturing. Ceramic mass for manufacturing ceramic brick includes beidellite clay and combustion product of basalt charge including as follows, wt %: SiO₂ - 43.2; Al₂O₃ - 11.3; CaO - 17.6; MgO - 9.6; Fe₂O₃ - 7.72; R₂O -5.79; SO₃ - 1.09; "п.п.п." - 2.8, which is obtained when producing mineral cotton, at the following component ratio, wt %: beidellite clay - 60-80; combustion product of basalt charge when producing mineral cotton - 20-40.
