FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: pre-stressed reinforced masonry bulkhead consists of flexible bar element of rectangular section or T-section. Element is made by ceramic brickwork with holes. Element is reinforced with spatial reinforcement cage. Longitudinal pins including pins of the main working cage reinforcement are located in brick holes. Pins of transverse reinforcement are located at brickwork joints. In pins of the main working reinforcement there created are initial tensile stresses by means of initial fixing of ends of those pins with cement grout in 2-3 rows of brickwork at the structure's edges. Major length of pins of the main working reinforcement is freely located in trough-shaped niche and open slots. The latter are made with the help of installing cut bricks. After brickwork reaches certain strength, pins of the main working reinforcement are strained in pairs with transverse screw tension bar and fixed with cement-and-sand grout.
EFFECT: improving stiffness, crack resistance, lifetime and thermal protection.
