FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to construction, namely, to flexural reinforced masonry structures of buildings and structures and may be used for the construction, reconstruction, or restoration of stone buildings, mainly small or located far from construction industry factories. The reinforced masonry lintel for wall openings, containing brickwork of conventionally effective bricks and a reinforcement space frame reinforcing the brickwork. Tensioned main reinforcement of the space frame is located in conventionally effective brick holes and grouted with high-grade cement-sand grout; the top row of the lintel brickwork is set on the edge to provide for best resistance to the principal compressive stress.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and thermal protection of building structures and simplification of reinforced masonry lintel design.
