FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wave mechanism incorporates wave generator, two flexible wheels and rigid wheel. Two wave makers are fitted on the wave generator shaft with the help of two different-direction overrunning couplings. The said two-rim rigid wheel is fitted inside the housing with the help of the said overrunning coupling. One flexible ring is fixed, the other one being coupled by means of clutch (4) with output shaft (5). The first wave maker drives, via the said fixed wheel, the rigid wheel and, further on, via clutch (4), output shaft (5). With wave generator running in opposite direction, the second wave maker drives the second flexible wheel and, via clutch (4), output shaft (5).
EFFECT: smooth running of output shaft, high load-bearing capacity, complete balance relative to mechanism central axis, simple design.
