SUBSTANCE: current-limiting reactor includes cylindrical winding made of coils each containing f parallel wires, where f is an integer, f≥4. Coils form m axial lines perpendicular to winding axis, where m is an integer, m≥4. Lined wires are radially arranged between internal and external winding diameter in n positions from the first position at internal diameter to n-th position at external diameter, where n is an integer, n≥4. Parallel wires are transposed within wire junction from each preceding line to the following one. Besides, within wire junction from each odd line from below to the following even line, all parallel wires are generally transposed. According to the invention, at least, within wire junction from even to odd line, transposition is carried out as follows: wires are divided into two groups so that each group of wires in specified odd line contains only one wire of length partially located in n-th position.
EFFECT: sufficient current distribution evenness, simplified fabrication method with minimised active and insulation materials and improved mass and dimension parameters.
