FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of a bearing frame and side bars equipped with sprinklers that are connected to the frame via spring-loaded parallelogram-shaped mechanisms; the sprinklers have feelers attached to their ends. The feelers length is equal to the inter-tree spacing width; the feelers are oriented in the direction of the device travel and attached onto the frame with their middle parts. The device is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder pivotally connected to the draft link of one of the parallelogram-shaped mechanisms. Onto the hydraulic cylinder rod there is a crank arm rigidly fitted connected to the draft link of the side bar parallelogram-shaped mechanism. The crank arm groove length is proportional to the aggregate displacement of the feelers from one end position to the other with the full travel distance of the hydraulic cylinder rod being equal to the crank arm groove length.
EFFECT: device design solution provides for enhanced efficiency of undertree gardening cultivation due to reduction of the time required for entry into the inter-tree spacing.
