FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: sprinkler irrigation installation contains an elbow irrigation pipeline equipped with sprinkler heads, support wheels, a drive positioned in the middle of the central section and section connection couplings. The lower journals of the elbow pipe rest on the support wheels positioned in the spacings between agricultural crops rows with the sprinkler heads mounted onto the pipeline upper journals. The upper journals of the elbow pipe are positioned at a level of 2.5-3.0 m above the ground level. The pipeline relies on double-wheel support bogies positioned at the pipeline ends and in the middle (where the drive motor is mounted) and one-wheeled supports. Over the support bogies and one-wheeled supports there are brackets arranged cable-connected to the drive bogie bracket. The sprinkler heads have spoon-shaped deflectors whose bottom plates are represented by parabolic curvilinear surfaces. The bottom plate has curvilinear splitter fins aligned with the parabolic curves. The sprinkler heads are connected to the irrigation pipeline with delivery pipes whose length (equal to 1.0-1.2 m) exceeds the pipeline support wheels radius.

EFFECT: design ensures minimisation of the device transportation labour intensity and enables tall-stalked crops watering.
