SUBSTANCE: proposed nut runner comprises drive and actuator representing spindle with hole, hollow adapter with its lower part interacting with the nut and its upper part interacting with the spindle hole, hollows bearing barrel with stop and cover coupled with the said bearing barrel top end face surface. Latter represents alternating ledges and recesses interacting with the alternating recesses and ledges, respectively, of cover bottom end face surface. The said spindle can revolve relative to the cover in the nut rotation plane. The aforesaid bearing barrel can represent either hollow cylinder or a hollow polyhedron. The nut runner can incorporate hydraulic drive.

EFFECT: simplified production of nut runner, bettery efficiency and higher torque in nut screwing on and off.
