FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drill bits and diamond tools, particularly to roller-bit drill supports. Proposed support comprises journal furnished with axial and radial oil feed channels, cylindrical support surface and spherical thrust bearing, the radius of latter exceeding that of the former, and roller bit fitted on journal by locking element. The said spherical thrust bearing is threaded onto the cylindrical support surface. The locking element is formed by the cylindrical sleeve with L.H. thread on its outer surface jointed to the roller bit with help of mating thread made on the roller bit inner surface. The spherical thrust bearing can have threaded ledge or channel, while the cylindrical spherical thrust bearing can have mating threaded channel or ledge. The spherical thrust bearing and cylindrical support surfaces feature helical grooves on their outer surfaces communicating, via radial channels, with the journal axial channel. The spherical thrust bearing is located on the line of joint between the spherical thrust bearing and cylindrical support surface.
EFFECT: simpler design, lower costs.
