FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of jointing nipple to flexible hose pipe comprises deforming the hose pipe by the tapered part of nipple that has threaded tapered and cylindrical parts, and drawing in the hose pipe towards cylindrical sleeve arranged on the hose pipe outer surface. First, the nipple is inserted for possible length. Then, the inner thread sleeve is screwed on the hose pipe outer surface for the length equal to that of the nipple tapered threaded part. Now, the nipple is screwed inside the hose pipe for the length of the tapered part. Finally, the outer sleeve and the nipple are screwed on against the stop.
EFFECT: higher reliability of joint.
