FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: application: for radiation flaw detection. X-ray radiation is generated, passed through the filter installed downstream radiation source and upstream detector, and through control object, and is registered by detector, at that depending on material and thickness of control object thickness of filter is selected in the range of 0.04-0.2 mm, and its material is selected based on condition that jump of X-rays weakening for this control object takes place in the range of radiation energy level - 5-29 KeV.

EFFECT: higher sensitivity of radiation control during performance of radiation flaw detection of low thickness products from materials with small atomic number.
