SYSTEM AND METHOD OF GRANTING ACCESS TO VOICE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION CHANNEL Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H04L12/16 H04B7/26

Abstract RU 2351080 C2

FIELD: physics; communication.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to wireless communication systems. Proposed here is a method and system for granting access to a voice transmission channel in a TDMA system. The TDMA system contains several subscriber modules and several base radio stations. The first subscriber module determines whether the "correct" access to a channel has been granted. The first subscriber module is characterised by a first colour code and an identifier (ID) of the first conversational group. The first subscriber module also traces transmission of voice signals in the voice signal transmission channel from the second subscriber module with a second colour code and an identifier (ID) of the second conversational group. If the first colour code corresponds to the second colour code, and the identifier (ID) of the first conversational group corresponds to the identifier (ID) of the second conversational group, then the first subscriber module is granted access to the voice signal transmission channel, even if the channel is being used for transmitting signals by the second subscriber module.

EFFECT: provision for an efficient wireless communication system.
