METHOD OF CULTIVATING ULTRA-SHORT SEASON VARIETIES OF SOYA BEAN WITH 1700°C THERMAL CONDITION AND WITH LESS SEED, MAINLY IN DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A01B79/02

Abstract RU 2351111 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method of cultivating soya beans involves primary tillage of the precursor and soil treatment with a herbicide, fertilisation and real tillage. In early spring, the soil is loosened up and levelled. Before sowing, seed treatment and inoculation are carried out. Pre-irrigation is done and the soil is cultivated at a depth of 0.04-0.05 m. The soil is then smoothed out and seeds are then sowed, after which soil smoothed out again. After germination of the soya bean seedlings, harrowing is done. Irrigation is carried out during the vegetation period. The final stages of cultivating the soya beans are inter-row tending, desiccation and harvesting. In the budding period, while irrigating, microelements Mo, B, Co, Mn and Zn are added in the ratio 0.048-0.072, 0.162-0.243, 0.053-0.080, 0.060-0.100 and 0.072-0.108 kg/ha respectively. In the flowering period, with irrigation at the same time, the same microelements are added in ratio - Mo - 0.068-0.093, B - 0.220-0.310, Co - 0.075-0.102, Mn - 0.010-0.013 and Zn - 0.102-0.138 kg/ha. To produce full-value grain in the pod formation phase, the following elements are added with the respective ratios - 0.108-0.132, B - 0.360-0.440, Co - 0.120-0.147, Mn - 0.015-0.018 and Zn - 0.162-0.198 kg/ha. In the grain-filling and maturation period, microelements are added in the respective ratios - Mo - 0.088-0.013, B - 0.297-0.378, Co - 0.098-0.124, Mn - 0.012-0.015 and Zn - 0.132-1.168 kg/ha.

EFFECT: adding the given microelements during the budding, flowering, pod formation, grain-filling and maturation periods of the ultra-short season varieties of soya bean increases yield by 13-18%, protein content in the seeds by 16-22% and fat content by 4-8%.
