FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traction systems of DC motor vehicles and is intended for reducing voltage pulsations at loads incorporating rectifier-inverter convertors, particularly, to AC-driven electric trains. The proposed system comprises a transformer, a controlled rectifier, a smoothing reactor, a motor and voltage pulsation damper that cuts in the damping capacitor, independent current inverter, voltage pickup, filter, first and second adders, delta modulator with preset operation threshold, comparator, "EXCLUSIVE OR" and "NO" elements. The damping capacitor outputs make the inputs of the voltage pulsation damper. The transformer primary is connected to the circuit while its secondary is connected, via the controlled rectifier, to smoothing reactor and motor connected in series. Voltage pulsation damper outputs are connected in parallel ho the transformer secondary.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of system operation, higher reliability of electric locomotive.
