SUBSTANCE: invention refers to liquid composition for hexavalent chrome reduction. Liquid composition contains water in amount 5%-50%, stannous sulphate as dispersed solid particles of average size 0.001 to 1.0 micron in amount 40%-70% and viscosity-modifying biopolymer polysaccharide in amount 0.1%-10.0%; additionally, the specified liquid composition contains dissolved and solid-particle stannous sulphate. Besides, there are disclosed methods of modifying hydrated binder materials with using chrome reduction composition ensuring advantages over dry-powdered or dissolved sulphate compositions used in cement making.
EFFECT: offered liquid composition provides higher long-term efficiency of hexavalent chrome reduction in cement.
