FIELD: construction, road construction.

SUBSTANCE: inventions are related to modular section of open track for city transport that moves on air tyres, and on open track formed from sequence of track sections. Modular track section joined with the other ones, for city transport, in particular with autonomous control system on air tyres, comprises frame made of two side hollow sectional caissons of rectangular or trapezoidal section. Caissons comprise flat base (4) and two side walls, accordingly, external (5) and internal (6) ones, on upper part of which flat strip is fixed, which serves as track path (8) for transport wheels. Caissons are held parallel and are connected by linking cross bars (16), which bear the rail (17) for driving of transport vehicle. Line for city transport with autonomous control system on air tyres is formed from sequence of modular track sections. Track sections that have been previously manufactured in factory, are ready for installation on existing road way or in trench with rammed base. Invention represents interest for manufacturers of city transport vehicles and tracks for these vehicles.

EFFECT: simplification of open track installation and reduced time required for works performance.
