FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to washing units of rock destroying tools, particularly of hydro-monitoring type. The washing unit of the drilling bit contains a case with a channel and a seat made with circular boring, it also contains a head installed in the seat; the head is equipped with a sealing element; further the washing unit contains a locking split ring with a catcher arranged in the circular boring of the seat. The case has a radial channel coupled with the circular boring; the catcher is made in form of a rod, the input end of which is located in the split of the locking ring. The rod is secured in the radial channel so as to prevent axial displacement. The input end of the rod has facets or lengthwise slots, the width of which is bigger, than the thickness of the locking split ring. The lengthwise slots can be made on facets of the rod and on its cylinder surface. The rod is fastened to the case by means of thread or any other known method.

EFFECT: upgraded reliability of operation of unit and simplification of design.
