SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of power engineering. Gas burner, in particular for domestic stove comprises cuplike vessel coupled with gas nozzle, gear ring with multiple flame channels, installed above mentioned vessel, and upper cover that covers burner on top. There is circumferential step on at least part of external surface of gear ring. Mentioned circumferential step is arranged below the level of flame channels and has smooth surface. Circumferential step is at least partially crossed by radial grooves, which are connected to appropriate flame channels of gear ring. Upper cover substantially has the same diameter as gear ring.

EFFECT: improvement of burner properties without necessity to apply specialized and expensive technology.
