FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for correction of distortions, which are introduced in image by optical system of optical-electronic device (video camera, photo camera, projection display), and further introduction of corrected image in computer or other digital device of image processing. In available device, which comprises ADC, control circuit, video data RAM, address generator, RAM of abscissas correction table, RAM of ordinates correction table, correcting address generator, bus controller, low capacity RAM and correction device have been introduced. Increased accuracy of image introduction in computer is provided by transfer of pixels in true positions and additional correction of their brightness.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of image introduction in computer by means of correction of distortion caused by errors of image transfer by optical system of optical-electronic device.
