FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: previously carrier is prepared with image of white two-row grid on dark background. Then manually with the help of writing tool grid elements that are not included into desired inscription are hatched, at that some elements of grid are hatched completely, and the other ones - only partially. Hatching is done preferably in direction that is transverse to inscription.
EFFECT: possibility to manually apply inscriptions that guarantee their machine reading.
