FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the method of feeding chickens. The basic diet contains a feed supplement, obtained from larvae of synanthropic flies subjected to thermal treatment after separation from the substrate. Thermal treatment of larvae of synanthropic flies is carried out in water at 75-90°C temperature for 2-5 minutes. The feed supplement is added to the basic diet in quantity of 12.5-25.0% of mass of the basic diet or 3.0-6.0% in terms of mass of dry substance.
EFFECT: increased body weight gain as well as their slaughter weight.
