SUBSTANCE: subproduct for producing cardboard box to store identical articles comprises a number of main panels pivoted together along with the bottom part and, at least, one upper panel. Note that one of the upper panels has a tear-off tape that allows is to be separated into two parts. Note also that the upper panel every end is hinged to the part of end face expanding panel. Aforesaid subproduct incorporates additionally an upper closing panel hinged to every end face expanding panel, a bottom and side closing panels hinged to the opposite ends of the bottom and side panels. The end face expanding panels are overlapped by the upper panel or every upper panel in finished cardboard box. The upper box is separated by tearing off the aforesaid tear-off strip to allow every end face expanding panel and each of the separated parts of upper panel to go up, in fact, in one plane with appropriate adjacent side and end face walls to increase useful volume of finished cardboard box.

EFFECT: box strength, ease of use and manufacture, increased useful volume.
