FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication and may be used for generation of the required time formats of phase-shift keyed, amplitude-shift keyed and phase-amplitude-shift keyed signals. Radio frequency signal amplitude and phase modulation method provides for supplying radio frequency harmonica signal to the modulator input. The modulator is made up from the reactive four-pole device, two-pole controlled element connected with low-frequency control signal source. The load with complex resistance for the running modulated radio frequency signals is connected to the output of four-pole device. Two-pole controlled element is connected between four-pole device and load in the cross circuit. The signal source resistance is selected as complex and no less than three two-pole elements are selected. Reactive elements value parameters forming two-pole elements of four-pole device is selected under condition that the given phase values φ1,2 should be ensured for transmission factors in the first and second status of the controlled element and the given value of m2 module for transmission factor in the second status. The reactive elements value parameters are also selected under condition of mi module value definition, transmission factor in the first status of the controlled element which ensures physical implementation of four-pole device. In addition, the above conditions are implemented by the given mathematical expressions. Radio frequency signal amplitude and phase modulator contains two-pole controlled element, reactive four-pole device, which is made up from four two-pole devices, low frequency controlled signal source, load with complex resistance for running radio frequency signals modulated by amplitude and phase. Besides, the controlled element is connected to the cross circuit between reactive four-pole device and load.
EFFECT: ensuring amplitude and phase shift in two states of controlled signal under controlled transmission factor module and phase in each state.
