FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to radio communication and may be used for demodulation (DM) of amplitude-manipulated, and also amplitude-modulated (AM) signals with specified correction of amplitude modulation depth. In method and device for demodulation of AM signals DM is connected between source of radio frequency (RF) AM signals and low frequency (LF) load, and is made of quadripole (QP), double-electrode NE, low pass filter (LPF). With the help of LPF, information LF signal is separated, amplitude of which varies according to law of input AM signal amplitude. Between output of QP and LPF, a high frequency (HF) load is introduced, NE is connected between source of signal and input of QP into transverse circuit. QP is made of number of reactive dipoles, at least three, parametre values of which are selected from condition of provision of specified AM depth, identified by specified value of DM transfer ratio module in the second condition of NE and identified from condition of physical performability of DM transfer ratio module value in the first NE condition.
EFFECT: provision of specified values of DM transfer ratio modules in two conditions of non-linear element (NE), defined by two extreme values of inlet AM signal levels.
