FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to drive mechanisms of moulding machines, and namely automatic moulding machines, and can be used for setting a movable plate to position of locked half-moulds thus locking them during item moulding. The effect is achieved in hydraulic mechanical half-mould locking device of moulding machine, which contains a hollow housing installed on a fixed plate with a leading screw arranged thereinside, which is connected to the rotary drive thereof and a leadscrew nut. The latter is connected to a power bushing with annular protrusions, which is fixed on the movable plate on external surface to interact through a lock with a half-mould locking hydraulic cylinder piston. At that, lock is made in the form of a threaded pair of power bushing and power nut, which is installed in fixed plate with the possibility of restricted axial movement and rigidly connected to an internal cog wheel through a pinion. The latter is fixed on the hollow housing cover end surface, which is connected to external cog wheel located on the leading screw with S pitch. Pitch is defined from equation S/S₁=Z/Z₁, where S₁ - power nut thread pitch, Z - number of teeth of external cog wheel, and Z₁ - number of teeth of internal cog wheel. At that, power nut is spring-loaded relative to hollow housing.

EFFECT: simplifying the design, reducing time required for locking half-moulds, and providing equal operating conditions of the device at forward and back travel of movable plate.
