FIELD: injection casting of items.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of injection casting of items by a method of injection feed of a material in a form-building cavity. The mechanism of closing of half-molds of an injection-molding machine, for example, of the thermoplastic-automatic machine contains a stand with a located on it stationary mold-carrying plate with the built-in power hydraulic cylinders, ends of the rods of which are coupled by a sheet bridge and pass through a mobile mold-carrying plate. The plate is connected to hydraulic cylinders of its quick relocation into a position of contact of the half-molds controlled by a device of its positioning and fixed by latches of the locking mechanism made in the form of bushes coaxially located of the power hydraulic cylinders. At that the latches of the mechanism of the half- molds locking are made with a capability of their closing only in one position while the telescoped rods of the hydraulic cylinders of a rapid relocation of the mobile mold-carrying plate are connected with the sheet bridge rigidly mounted on the rods of the power hydraulic cylinders coupled to the device of the positioning of the half-molds contact. The invention ensures simplification of production of latches of the mechanism closing the half-molds at simultaneous improvement of the process of its assembly and maintainability.
