SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabric production, foundation fabrics and can be used in production of textile fabrics for domestic and technical purposes. The knitted plated fabric contains loops from two threads, whose broaches are directed in different directions. Front wales in the fabric are alternated with back wales and joined with interweaving fabric chains. In one version according to the invention, in rapport order, two front and one back wales alternate. The fabric is obtained from a system of four threads, two of which form single-layer interweaving of tricot weave on the right side of the fabric. In another version, according to the invention, in rapport order, two front and two back wales alternate. The fabric is obtained from a system of six threads, two of which form single-layer interweaving of tricot weave on the front side of the fabric, and two - on the back side of the fabric.
EFFECT: expansion of the assortment of foundation fabric, and increase in elasticity of the fabric along its width.
