FIELD: textile.
SUBSTANCE: secondary rib bi-knit includes repeated combination of two groups consisting of two or more similar lines of rib weaving. Groups are inserted one into another so that wales of one rib weaving group are placed between wales of the other group. Rib lines within one group are formed in series in the same wales of knitted item sides without any shifting.
EFFECT: stability of balanced bi-knit shape and textured effect on textile surface.
