FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed coupling comprises toothed planet gear wherein the central wheel makes a driving half-coupling and the pinion frame makes a driven half-coupling with three planet pinions in mesh with the central wheel fitted on driving half-coupling. The teeth of every planet pinion accommodate a pair of taper-surface disks with circular collars fixed tangentially and moving axially, the said collars being aligned with planet pinion. Note that the said circular collar seats in contact with the central wheel and pinion frame. The driven half-coupling is made up of two flanges and central washers jointed together by three pins. The flanges are furnished with two stops for every disk. Planet pinion axles are spring-loaded towards aforesaid stops by springs arranged on the flanges.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, smaller sizes.
