FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: proposed grenade launcher is mounted outside the tower of a combat vehicle and has a grenade thrower with a cylindrical branch pipe, fitted with possibility of rotating in the vertical plane and closed by a cover with an outlet window for empty components. The cylindrical branch pipe is put on the barrel of the grenade thrower, spring loaded in the radial direction relative the barrel and is fixed from axial displacement by a plate holder, fitted on the grenade thrower. The cover has front and rear parts, freely joined with the grenade thrower and held by spring loaded latches. The front part of the cover is provided with a visor, located above the outlet window for empty components.

EFFECT: more reliable operation of the grenade launcher, improved operational characteristics.
