SUBSTANCE: in this device for measurement of distances the following fact is used: during distribution of short impulse in dispersing medium (atmosphere). impulse duration is widened, and the longer measured distance is and the more intense the air dispersion that depends on atmosphere conditions, the wider is pulse duration. Range finder comprises laser, photodetector, interference filter, transmitting telescope, receiving lens, pulse generator, measurer of time intervals, measurer of pulses duration, amplitude detector, summator, unit for control and clocking, analog-digital transducer, digital indicator panel, angle reflector.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of distances measurement.
