FIELD: information technologies, training.
SUBSTANCE: mounted on stem piston is located in sealed reservoir. Underpiston space of reservoir is filled with studied gas. When stem is traveling along reservoir axis the piston gradually presses the gas. Piston position by which gas volume change is estimated is recorded by displacement transducer. Recording of gas pressure change when it is pressed is performed using pressure sensor which is connected to underpiston chamber of reservoir. The installation provides to versions of displacement transducer design. Data about gas pressure change when it is pressed obtained through transducer readings recalculation, and data about gas pressure change obtained from pressure sensor enter computer where graphics and diagrams displaying isothermal process features can be obtained as a result of these data processing.
EFFECT: learning efficiency improvement, didactic possibilities enhancement, reducing time necessary for specific part of thermodynamics study, improvement of gas parameters measuring accuracy during isothermal process, and installation design simplification.
