METHOD FOR CULTIVATION OF CUCUMBER, MAINLY IN DROP IRRIGATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A01B79/02 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method envisages selection of a forecrop, stubble ploughing of the forecrop, application of fertilisers, soil processing with herbicide, real tillage, prevernal breaking up of soil and levelling, preplanting irrigation and cultivation at a depth of 0.04±0.01 m, soil compaction before and after seeding. Seeding is carried out at the ratio of 120-140 thousand of pieces per a hectare at a depth 0.03-0.04 m, plants are irrigated during vegetation period, plant-root fertilisation and foliage spraying are carried out, crops are protected from agricultural pest and diseases. To harvest 30 tons of cucumbers from a hectare, macro elements N₆₅P₄₀K₂₀ are dosed with irrigation water during different phase within keeping soil moisture at a level of 70% HB during vegetation period, to harvest 50 tons of cucumbers from a hectare, N₁₀₅P₆₀K₄₀ is dosed within keeping initial moisture at a level of 80% HB during vegetation period, to harvest 70 tons of cucumbers from a hectare, N₁₄₅P₈₀K₅₅ is dosed within keeping initial moisture at a level of 90% HB during vegetation period. Microelements are applied by supplying with a solution of bischofite natural mineral at the ratio 200-400 l/hectare according to indicated phenological stage and with respective dosage.

EFFECT: increase in productivity and quality of cucumbers in drop irrigation system.
